Limited Warranty

The warranty obligations of Bad Wolf LLC for these products are limited to the terms set forth below.

Length of Warranty Period

This limited warranty lasts five (5) year from the purchase date of this product.

What is Covered

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in this product.

What is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, exposure to fire, improper packing and shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of this product from any installation, any unauthorized tampering with this product, any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by Bad Wolf LLC to make such repairs, or any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of this product. This limited warranty does not cover equipment enclosures, cables or accessories used in conjunction with this product.

How to Obtain a Remedy Under this Limited Warranty

To obtain a remedy under this limited warranty, contact Bad Wolf LLC by letter, email, or telephone with the following information:

  • Product name and model
  • Product serial number
  • Original purchase date
  • Customer name and location
  • Name of contact person for description of symptoms
  • Return shipping address and any special instructions

If it is determined that the product must be returned under this limited warranty, a Returned Goods (RG) number, obtained from Bad Wolf LLC., will be required. This product should be properly packed to prevent damage in transit. Cartons not bearing a RG number will require additional processing time and repair/replacement service may be delayed.

What Bad Wolf LLC Will Do Under This Limited Warranty

Bad Wolf LLC will, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies to whatever extent it shall deem necessary to satisfy a proper claim under this limited warranty:

  1. Elect to repair or facilitate the repair of any defective parts within a reasonable period of time, free of any charge for the necessary parts and labor to complete the repair and restore this product to its proper operating condition. Bad Wolf LLC will pay the shipping costs necessary to return this product to the customer once the repair/replacement is complete.
  2. If the defective product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with a new unit and the original warranty period will be extended by six (6) months.

If this product is returned to Bad Wolf LLC, the product must be insured during shipment, with the insurance and shipping charges prepaid. If this product is returned uninsured, Bad Wolf LLC does not assume any risk of loss or damage during shipment. Bad Wolf LLC will not be responsible for any costs related to the removal or re-installation of this product.

Out-of-Warranty Product

Product that is out-of-warranty will be repaired at customer’s request and the cost of repair will be disclosed prior to proceeding with the repair. A purchase order must be received prior to repair. If the product cannot be repaired, Bad Wolf LLC will provide one of the following remedies:

  1. New unit at current pricing with a one (5) year Limited Warranty from the shipping date of product.
  2. Refurbished unit (if available) at a discounted price with a six (6) month Limited Warranty from the shipping date of product.

Limitation on Liability

The maximum liability of Bad Wolf LLC under this limited warranty shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid for the product. Bad Wolf LLC is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Exclusive Remedy

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this limited warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bad Wolf LLC specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose. If Bad Wolf LLC cannot lawfully disclaim or exclude implied warranties under applicable law, then all implied warranties covering this product, including warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to this product as provided under applicable law.

Rights under State Law

This warranty defines specific legal rights relative to these products provided by Bad Wolf LLC Legal rights may also vary from state to state.

Bad Wolf Return and Refund Policy

Returns

We have a 30 day return policy, if more than 30 days has passed since your purchase we are unable to offer a full refund and your return will be prorated based on time and condition. We do not reimburse shipping fees.

To be eligible for a full return, your item must be unused and in new condition. Your item must be in the original packaging and include all additional parts.

If your item is missing any packaging or parts but still in new condition there will be a 25% restocking fee. If your item is not in new condition, a variable fee which carries a minimum of 25% will be assessed depending on the condition of your return. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. All items not purchased directly from Bad Wolf must be returned to the place of purchase. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Return Inspection

Once we receive your item, we will notify you that we have received your return. We will then begin inspecting the items condition to verify return status.

Once this is completed, we will contact you again. If your return is approved, we will then arrange the Refund, Exchange, or Return options with you.

Refunds

If your item qualifies for a Refund, we will arrange reimbursement with you.

Exchange

If your item qualifies for an Exchange, we will arrange this with you.

Shipping

To return your product, you should contact Bad Wolf to receive instructions on how to ship your product to us.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Bad Wolf Surge Protector Equipment Liability Policy

 

This product liability policy applies to Bad Wolf LLC surge protection products only and is intended for use on electrical circuits verified correct for product application. Bad Wolf LLC reserves the right to determine whether the damage the connected equipment is due to a Bad Wolf LLC product failure by requesting that the damaged equipment be sent to Bad Wolf LLC for inspection. This policy does not cover damages caused by use in conjunction with other types of voltage or current control devices. Improper installation, neglect or any other cause beyond the range of the intended use of this device shall void this policy. Accidents, fire, water or other hazards shall void this policy. This policy is in excess of, and applies only to the extent necessary beyond any coverage for the connected equipment provided by other sources, including, but not limited to, any manufacturer’s warranty, and any extended warranty coverage. Cause of said damage must be a result of Bad Wolf LLC product defect or failure to perform as guaranteed.

Eligibility for coverage under the Liability Policy

Product must have been registered with Bad Wolf LLC within 10 days of purchase. All information must be filled in, and you should retain a copy of your sales receipt for your records. Any claim under the Equipment liability policy must be made within 10 days of the date of alleged damage to the connected equipment.

What is not covered under the product policy

This policy does not cover damage from a cause of power line transients, telephone line, network or CATV transients. Damage caused by failure to provide a suitable installation environment for the product (including, but not limited to, lack of a good electrical connection. Damage caused by the use of product for purpose other than those for which it was designed for. Damage caused by accidents, or disasters such as fire, flood or wind. Damage caused by abuse, misuse, alteration, modification or neglect. This policy is null and void if the Bad Wolf LLC’s view the product has been tampered with or altered in any way. Except as expressly provided in this policy, in no case shall Bad Wolf LLC be liable under the terms of this policy for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or multiple damages arising out of the use of this product or damage to the connected equipment, regardless of the legal theory on which such claim is based, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. Such damages include but are not limited to loss of profit, loss of savings or revenue, loss of use of the Bad Wolf LLC product or the connected equipment or any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of a substitute equipment, facilities or services, labor, downtime, the claims of a third parties, including customers, and injury to property.

Submitting a claim

If all the conditions for coverage are satisfied, contact Bad Wolf LLC at sales@badwolfusa.com to obtain an RMA number. Bad Wolf LLC will send you an claim and loss form that must be completed within 15 days.
