Limited Warranty
The warranty obligations of Bad Wolf LLC for these products are limited to the terms set forth below.

Length of Warranty Period
This limited warranty lasts five (5) years from the purchase date of this product.

What is Covered
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in this product.

What is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, exposure to fire, improper packing and shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier). It also does not cover damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from installation or removal of this product, unauthorized tampering, repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by Bad Wolf LLC, or any other cause unrelated to a defect in materials and/or workmanship. This warranty excludes equipment enclosures, cables, or accessories used with this product. 

What Bad Wolf LLC Will Do Under This Limited Warranty
Bad Wolf LLC will, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies it deems necessary to satisfy a proper claim:

  • Repair or facilitate repair of any defective parts within a reasonable time, free of charge for parts and labor, restoring the product to proper operating condition.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with a new unit, and the original warranty period will be extended by six (6) months.

Out-of-Warranty Product
Products out of warranty will be repaired at the customer’s request, with repair costs disclosed before proceeding. A purchase order is required before repair. If the product cannot be repaired, Bad Wolf LLC will provide:

  • A new unit at current pricing with a five (5) year Limited Warranty from the shipping date.
  • A refurbished unit (if available) at a discounted price with a six (6) month Limited Warranty from the shipping date.

Limitation on Liability
Bad Wolf LLC’s maximum liability under this limited warranty shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid. Bad Wolf LLC is not liable for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Exclusive Remedy
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this limited warranty and remedies above are exclusive and in place of all other warranties, whether oral or written, express or implied. Bad Wolf LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except where law prohibits such disclaimers.

Rights under State Law
This warranty defines specific legal rights provided by Bad Wolf LLC. Legal rights may vary by state.

Bad Wolf Return and Refund Policy

Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund; instead, your return will be prorated based on the time elapsed and the item’s condition. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

To be eligible for a full return, the item and its packaging must be in new, unused condition. The item must be returned in its original packaging with all included parts.

If the item is missing packaging or parts but is still in new condition, a 25% restocking fee will apply. If the item is not in new condition, a variable fee (minimum 25%) will be charged based on the item’s condition. To process a return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required. Items not purchased directly from Bad Wolf must be returned to the original place of purchase. Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds; sale items cannot be refunded.

Return Shipping Instructions

To return a product, please contact Bad Wolf for shipping instructions. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, which is non-refundable. If you receive a refund, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount.

Delivery times for exchanged products may vary depending on your location.

For valuable items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Bad Wolf recommends that customers include shipping insurance when returning items. Please note that Bad Wolf is not responsible for any loss, damage, or issues that occur during return shipping. Any shipping-related claims must be filed directly by the customer with the selected shipping carrier.

Return Inspection
Once we receive your return, we will notify you and begin inspecting the item to verify its condition. After the inspection, we will contact you with the status of your return. If approved, we will arrange your refund, exchange, or store credit.

Refunds
If your return qualifies for a refund, we will coordinate reimbursement with you.

Exchange
If your item qualifies for an exchange, we will arrange this with you.

How to Obtain a Remedy Under This Limited Warranty
To make a warranty claim, contact Bad Wolf LLC via letter, email, or telephone with the following details:

  • Product name and model
  • Product serial number
  • Original purchase date
  • Original purchase receipt as proof of purchase
  • Customer name and location
  • Contact person and description of the issue
  • Return shipping address and any special instructions

If the product must be returned, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number will be issued by Bad Wolf LLC. Please pack the product carefully to prevent damage during transit. Return Material Authorization (RMA) may face processing delays.

Customer Loyal Replacement Program

We understand that things can happen outside of warranty periods. That’s why we offer our valued customers a one-time, 50% discount off the current retail pricing of a new replacement product when the original item is no longer covered under warranty.

How it works:

  • If your product is deemed out of warranty and non-repairable, you’re eligible for a 50% discount on a new replacement of the same or comparable model.
  • This is a one-time offer per original purchase.
  • To qualify, you must provide proof of original purchase.

Return & Warranty Policy

If your Bad Wolf product requires service under this limited warranty, it must be repaired or replaced exclusively at Bad Wolf LLC.

To begin the return process, please contact Bad Wolf Customer Service at 813-434-0404 to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. Products returned without an RMA may not be accepted.

Please note that all return shipping costs must be prepaid by the customer. Bad Wolf is not responsible for any transportation charges incurred when returning products to our facility.

Once received, we will inspect the product and proceed with repair or replacement as needed.

Bad Wolf Surge Protector Connected Equipment Product Limited Liability Policy

Key Points of Your Warranty/Policy:

  • Coverage:
    • 5 years, up to $100,000 product liability for equipment connected directly to Bad Wolf surge protectors.
    • Applies only if the surge protector is installed correctly on appropriate circuits.
    • Bad Wolf LLC decides if damage is due to their product by inspecting damaged equipment.
  • Exclusions:
    • Damage from Acts of God (Lightning, flood, fire, theft, etc.) is NOT covered.
    • Damage caused by improper installation, neglect, abuse, tampering, or using the product for unintended purposes voids coverage.
    • Damage caused by other voltage/current devices or bad electrical connections is not covered.
  • Claim Requirements:
    • The product must have been registered within 10 days of purchase with Bad Wolf LLC.
    • Claims must be made within 10 days of the damage occurring.
    • Keep your sales receipt and registration details.
    • Bad Wolf may require you to send in the damaged equipment for inspection.

    Did you register your Bad Wolf surge protector within 10 days of purchase? Usually, you can check by logging into the manufacturer’s website or contacting their customer support.
  2. Gather Purchase Information:
    Have your sales receipt, purchase date, and model details handy.
  3. Contact Bad Wolf LLC Customer Service:
    Reach out to them directly with your product and purchase information to confirm registration status and warranty eligibility. They can also explain the claims process if you believe your connected equipment was damaged by the surge protector.

 

Submitting a claim:
If all the conditions for coverage are satisfied, contact Bad Wolf LLC by Email: Sales@badwolfusa.com to obtain an RMA number. Bad Wolf LLC will send you a claim and loss form that must be completed within 10 days.
