1. Installation in the NMEA 2000 Power Cable Surge Protector
   The surge protector is designed to be installed between the power cable and backbone of the NMEA 2000 network. It functions as a pass-through device with both a male and a female connector.
2. How to Install
   • The surge protector installs similarly to a standard T-connector without the third connection.
   • It does not have pass through data connections and is designed to be used at power connections only.
   • Insert the male end of the power cable into the female connector of the surge protector, then using a customer supplied NEMA 2000 power cable connect the female end of the cable into the male connectors of the surge protector and then connect the male end of the cable into the NMEA 2000 T-Connector of your backbone.
